Welcome to Starfish Swimming Club Website

Starfish Swimming Club is a competitve swimming club formed in 2002, for children and adults with learning difficulties. We are a registered charity and are funded by a combination of member fund raising activities, the Royal Borogh of Windsor & Maidenhead and the local community. We are based at the Magnet Leisure Centre, Maidenhead and the club night is Saturday evenings @ 17:00 - 18:00. Starfish is affiliated to the ASA and the Special Olympics governing body.

 

Mission Statement

Starfish Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club and we aim to give children and adults with learning difficulties the opportunity to improve their swimming capability and to realise their full potential as a swimmer, whilst developing a string sense of teamwork, self discipline, self-esteem and sportmanship in a safe and caring environment.
